GUESTS AND PRESENTERS

Guest Applications for Multiverse 2024 have closed. Guest applications for Multiverse 2025 will open in January.

NOTE: The LEARN track Call For Papers will remain open until June 30, 2024. If you wish to be considered as a presenter for the LEARN track, please review the Call for Papers page.

Guests and Presenters at Multiverse are qualified individuals (industry professionals such as writers, artists, performers, academics, scientists, or those with other specialized knowledge and experience) who apply to be guests and are accepted by the Multiverse Programming Team. As a guest or presenter at that year’s convention, they will participate in programming such as panels, demonstrations, presentations, workshops, or other such events.

Guests and Presenters are listed on the “Also Appearing” page of the Multiverse website and have their name listed in the Multiverse programming guide for the year of their appearance, as well as announced via Multiverse’s social media throughout the year. They are also welcome to promote their appearance at Multiverse as they wish, and may supply the convention a PDF press release regarding their current work to be included with their bio on the convention website.

BECOMING A GUEST OR PRESENTER

Each individual who wishes to be a Multiverse Guest or Presenter must submit an application each year that they wish to be considered, and an acceptance is for that year only. The Multiverse Programming Team will review applications through the year and extend invitations to approved applicants.

A Guest will receive:

  • A complimentary badge for the weekend.

  • At least three one-hour programming events (more or less may be negotiated with the Multiverse Programming Team) such as signings, panel discussions, meetups, film screenings, or readings.

  • Option for discounted space to sell books or goods, either in the Dealer’s Hall or one of the pre-function areas (must complete Dealer application).

  • Listing in Convention materials and on the Convention website for that year.

A Presenter will receive:

  • A complimentary badge for the weekend.

  • A guarantee of at least one one-hour programming event (more may be negotiated with the Multiverse Programming Team).

  • Listing in Convention materials and on the Convention website for that year.

There are very limited number of Guest slots and complimentary memberships available each year, so unfortunately the convention cannot extend an invitation to everyone who applies. Guests and presenters are selected based on the needs of the convention in any given year, so even if you don’t receive an invite one year, don’t let that discourage you from applying in the future!
